Is there a task you used to be able to do perfectly easily without an app, device, login or internet connection?
Personally I’ve started wearing an actual ye olde wristwatch (with a dial) when travelling - I’m annoyed that I always look at my phone with its built in temptation to check the weather, my bank balance, and whether Instagram has any new videos of kittens.
Whether it’s QR codes in bars and car parks, or needing an app just to get the bus, it would be fun to hear what analogue activities you miss (or even those you’re glad to have waved goodbye to!).
Not sure if this counts, but the replacement of humans with machines in customer facing roles. Not saying they have to do everything with pen and paper - they could use the technology to support their work and make things easier for them. But when I phone the bank, the doctor, the electric company (or indeed my ISP!) etc it’s usually because there’s a problem, and it’s often best solved with a human who will make an effort to understand what I need and if necessary, help me find another human to help.
And it’s not just general annoyance - an elderly relative has recently spend a long time in hospital partly because she couldn’t get through the various GP and hospital helplines to get the care she needed, which meant she’s been much more ill than she could have been. I hope that over time we swing back to a balance where we realise humans have their uses!

Visitor car parking permits.
Used to be physical scratchards but now we have to install a shonky app that the council want us to use. Ringo used to be fine and I could use it to buy parking elsewhere, but having to install a single use council visitor parking app has made my blood boil.
I also need to catch myself on and stop being a curmudgeon because in theory it’s better than scratchcards. I don’t need to physically hand them over, I won’t scratch an incorrect date/time and then lose money, and I can extend my visitors parking time with a click.

Paying in shops with cash. A lot of places don’t take cash anymore and don’t tell you until after you have stood their counting it.

Ooof, you’re right there @Jasminesarejazzy (and welcome to the Broadband Genius community!) - such a pain, especially as not everyone has a card/app, especially for small purchases. I even keep seeing cake sheds with little card scanners! Do you think this has ramped up recently or has it been creeping in for years?
