It’s a grey area for sure. For me, I’d be happy to let my neighbours onto our connection for a day or so if they were experiencing an outage. After that, I’d be booting them off
I agree with Alex. I am happy to share with neighbours if they have an emergency, but just for that. What I find superfunny is when the neighbours try to connect to our apple tv… Obv it’s a mistake but I was tempted to accept a couple of time, just for jokes. Anyone else had a similar experience?
There’s no need to share a Wi-Fi password. You can set up guest Wi-Fi to safely share your broadband without compromising your security.
We have an agreement with our neighbours that if our broadband goes down, we can use each others in an emergency. Has helped this week as Virgin Media was wobbly for me.
