Is your phone line one in a million (and a half?)

Ofcom has shared a league table major cities and their migration from copper-based network. Across the UK, 1.5 million lines are still operating on the old copper-based phone network - which is due to switch off in January.

Is your city top of the table? Here’s the top 10 with the percentage of lines left to swtich. And are you stuck with - or sticking with - the old technology? Or do you want to switch but are struggling?

  • I’m in a top 10 city and I’ve switched
  • I’m in a top 10 city but I’m still on the old network
  • I’m outside of these areas but I’ve switched
  • I’m outside of these areas and still on the old network
