How do I set up mobile broadband as I longer want to use landline.Do I have to be using full fibre in order to switch?

Good news is that you definitely don’t need to be on full fibre, or anything else, in order to switch to mobile broadband. There are plenty of mobile home broadband services, but availability will still vary depending on where you live. Your new provider will provide a mobile router and SIM card, and the router plugs in to a normal electric socket - no engineer visit, but you might need to play around with where you put your router for the best signal. Most providers will also have a trial period so if the signal isn’t good enough for you, you’re not committed.
Just one thing in case I misunderstood your question - if you’re looking to have normal home internet but just don’t need to make landline calls, then you can sign up for a ‘broadband only’ package’ - increasingly this will be full fibre (sometimes called FTTP), but doesn’t have to be, and you can get connected with your new provider. You should then also be able to use Wifi calling for your mobile (depending on your device and mobile phone provider).
